Associated Faculty in Art will teach one class in the spring, which will be studio-based art courses. Must be able to teach freehand drawing techniques with a range of drawing methods, media and concepts. Must be able to apply written, oral, and visual communication skills and interpret and grade student work. During the spring the course load will be Art 5202 (Mold Making in Ceramics) which takes place in-person on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:55 6:40pm.
Performance Objectives
Help students achieve the following goals:
Conceptualize and build artwork in a project-based learning environment
Explore materiality and construction techniques in pursuing their projects
Lead in-class-critiques
Education and Experience Requirements
Required: MFA in Fine Art and teaching experience.
Desired: Exhibition record in the field of Art.
