POSITION TITLE:Exams Specialist I, Consolidated Services
The National Council States Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is an independent, not-for-profit organization through which nursing regulatory bodies act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting public health, safety and welfare, including the development of nursing licensure examinations. JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented administrative professional to join our Consolidated Services team. The ideal candidate will bring value to the team by providing administrative support on daily examination operational tasks for Nursing/Regulatory Bodies (NRBs) and the Examinations Department.
Reporting to the Exams Manager, Consolidated Services, the Exams Specialist I will act as a primary liaison between exams operations and NRBs, while providing prompt and accurate resolutions to operational exam inquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides administrative support to test development, psychometric as it related to the exam daily operations. Reviews daily the exam cases, holds and escalations to support the operational needs of the exam. Monitors and reviews weekly exams security web threat incidents. Escalates issues promptly to manager for resolution.
Assists with Board of Nursing/Regulatory Body communication such as accommodations, escalations to NRBs, member board reviews, ID verifications and scheduling issues.
Reviews and resolves candidate issues escalated by the NCSBN CX Department and coordinates resolution with test vendor.
Maintains the quarterly program codes for the educational programs.
Supports the application review process for Panel Recruitment.
Evaluates, maintains, and updates standard operating procedures and other support documentation using writing, proofing, and editing skills.
Acquires and maintains competent knowledge of relevant products, current support policies, and methods of support delivery to achieve established performance metrics based on standard operating procedures. Make recommendations for continuous process enhancement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree required.
Customer Relations Management (CRM) experience.
Strong verbal, written, organizational, critical thinking and analytical skills required.
Professional interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail, adaptability, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of two years of related experience.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The anticipated starting salary for this position is $43,000 - $48,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on a candidate’s relevant experience, skills, training, certifications/licenses, qualifications and geographical location.
