The John Glenn College of Public Affairs seeks to hire a semester lecturers to teach one credit skills classes in Spring 2026.Please indicate which course you wish to be considered for in your cover letter.
PUBAFRS 6541 Public Affairs Professional Development Skills Class (1) Credit Hour (online)(7 Week Session)
Planning and organizing instruction in ways that maximize student learning. Meeting scheduled classes and office hours in accordance with university policy. Ensuring curriculum implementation and course preparation in accordance with school standards. Preparing homework and exams, evaluating, and returning student work in a timely manner to promote learning. Maintaining accurate records of students progress and submitting final grade roster in accordance with established university deadlines. Maintaining confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA.
Candidates must be able to perform these duties in a flexible work environment. Courses may be scheduled during mornings, afternoons, or evenings.
Education and Experience
Required: Masters degree, excellent oral and written communication skills, relevant appliable work experience. Potential (demonstrated ability) to teach graduate students.
