Job Description: This position plays a key role in supporting data-driven fundraising efforts by analyzing donor data, identifying giving trends, and providing actionable insights to enhance fundraising strategy. This position is responsible for collecting, interpreting, and visualizing fundraising data to inform donor engagement, stewardship, and campaign planning. The position ensures the integrity and accuracy of fundraising data, develop predictive models to support fundraising goals, and provide leadership with key performance insights. They develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support fundraising decision-making. The analyst will bridge the gap between data analysis and fundraising strategy, helping to build strong donor relationships and maximize philanthropic impact. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with fundraising databases and reporting tools. This role requires the ability to transform complex donor data into strategic recommendations that drive donor retention, prospect identification, and overall fundraising success.

Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and interpret donor and fundraising data to identify trends and opportunities. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support fundraising decision-making. Collaborate with development staff to assess data needs and provide strategic insights for fundraising campaigns. Develop predictive models to forecast giving trends and optimize fundraising strategies. Support the implementation of business intelligence tools to improve fundraising analytics. Provide reporting and analysis on major gift prospects, annual giving, and capital campaigns.
Track and analyze fundraising metrics such as donor retention, acquisition, and campaign effectiveness. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the donor database through regular audits and data hygiene efforts.
Present insights and recommendations to leadership, development officers, and other key stakeholders.
Stay informed about industry best practices in fundraising analytics, donor segmentation, and prospect research.
