Position Title: Assistant Director of Admissions (Early Childhood, Lower School and Middle School)
Report to: Director of Enrollment Management
Receive Guidance From:Director of Enrollment Management
Collaborate Closely With:Admissions staff, Lower and Middle Division Heads
The Assistant Director of Admissions will support the mission and vision of University Liggett School through positive interactions with applicants, families and the ULS community. Specifically, it is the Assistant Director of Admission responsibility to ensure that the school’s mission, vision, and strategic plan are the center of all decisions and actions. The Assistant Director of Admissions will support an atmosphere of trust and openness among employees, students, and parents and will support an atmosphere that fosters the intellectual, social, physical, behavioral, and emotional growth of each student.
Innovative Admissions and Strategic Marketing
Develop and implement effective admission and recruitment strategies.
Collaborate with administrative offices to align efforts with institutional goals.
Plan and execute engaging admissions events such as open houses and shadow days.
Leverage data analysis to refine recruitment strategies and report key metrics.
Drive external branding efforts and manage print and digital marketing initiatives.
Community Engagement and Support
Conduct tours, interviews, and communication with prospective families via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
Represent the school at events and foster relationships with feeder schools.
Serve as a resource for families, guiding them through admissions and transition processes.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or higher in education or an equivalent field
Enthusiasm for representing a school and developing relationships with families and students through the admission process
A desire to provide excellent customer service by phone, email, and in person on campus visits
A growth mindset about learning the business of admissions and an eagerness to work toward professional goals and development
A keen desire to work in a collaborative, inclusive, and family-centered environment
Ability to connect with families and students of diverse backgrounds to develop healthy, supportive, and responsive relationships
Strong writer, reader, and speaker
Enthusiasm for continued professional development in the enrollment world
Eager willingness to support and to be present in the life of the school
A dedication to organizational skills, the team concept, and a positive attitude

12 month employee/ 7:45 am- 4:30 pm
