The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks applications to fill Hans J. Zassenhaus Visiting Assistant Professor (ZAP) and Arnold Ross Visiting Assistant Professor (RAP) positions. Pending approval, these positions will be available effective Autumn Semester 2025. These positions are renewable annually for up to a total of three years. The emphasis of ZAPs is teaching and research, while RAPs focus primarily on teaching. While teaching loads are subject to change, the teaching load for a ZAP is 2-1 (two courses in the autumn and one in the spring semester).
