Our Project Management Office team is looking for a Project Manager III who will be responsible for managing projects primarily in the Information Security programs. This Project Manager III will responsible for managing the execution of medium to large projects through the full project lifecycle. The Project Manager manages the project team and is accountable for delivering to committed scope, on-time and within budget. The Project Manager reports on the status of projects to the project sponsor, manages risks and issues, and ensures good communication within the team and with other stakeholders. This position reports directly to the Program Director for Systems & Networking, and Information Security. This position is eligible for either hybrid or in-office work arrangements.
Position responsibilities:
Plan delivery of projects in close collaboration with University clients, and with IS&T staff (Architects, Developers, Engineers, System Administrators, and Service Operations).
Manage project teams and delivery of projects including requirements gathering, design, resourcing, project plans, execution, change control, transition to service operations, and project closure. Proactively manage issues and risks. Manage project resources, budget and schedule.
Manage requirements gathering within projects. Collaborate with clients to understand and document as-is and to-be processes and requirements.

Required Skills
Basic Qualifications
B.A./B.S. required.
IT Project Management experience and demonstrated understanding of structured project management methodologies required.
Five to eight years of related experience desired.
Candidate must have strong communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Information Security and/or Identity Access Management technologies strongly desired.
Certification in one or more areas related to project and service management strongly desired.
