Job Description:
Position will provide daily accounting and operational oversite of Facilities Services Maximo work order management system including but not limited to ad hoc reporting, troubleshoot financial inquiries, financial analysis, liaison between the CFAS Director of Budget and Finance. Director of CFASITS, Assist Director of Strategic Planning/Finance, Facilities Sr Associate Directors and Facilities Supervisors/Managers. This position requires frequent collaboration and communication with CFAS leadership and accounting support staff, campus departments including the Office of the Comptroller, General Accounting, Human Resources, Payroll, the Treasurer's Office and other various other units across campus as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the oversight of Facilities Services Maximo Work Order Management System Accounting reporting and reconciliation to the University's General Ledger System in collaboration with the Director of CFAS ITS, CFAS Director of Budget and Finance, Assistant Director of Strategic Planning/Finance and Senior Associate Directors of Facilities Services.
• Collaborate with Facilities Services Supervisors/Managers and Directors to ensure campus expense distributions and reports are accurate, timely and meet the needs of the campus users/customers.
• Provide ongoing ad-hoc reporting based on all campus and CFAS inquires and special requests.
• Requires frequent collaboration and communication with CFAS leadership and accounting support staff, campus departments including the Office of the Comptroller, General Accounting, Human Resources, Payroll, the Treasurers Office and other various other units across campus as needed.
• Responsible for providing oversight, training, development opportunities, and resources to accounting staff and keep them abreast of changes in University accounting practices and reporting expectations.
• Manage ongoing capital projects billings and collaborate with CPDC Senior Project Managers, Associate Director of Capital Projects Accounting, and Capital Projects Accountants to ensure project expenses are billed accurately, timely and within approved funding commitment.
• The position also informs and makes recommendations regarding improvements that may lead to greater success in managing funding and meeting customer needs.
• Prepare ongoing budgetary estimated finals and analysis for YTD expenses and recoveries including that the annual billed services overhead recovery is properly planned, budgeted and offsets the budgeted overhead expense. Collaborate with the Office of Budget and Planning regarding new/changed/eliminated Facilities space costs and impact on campus users.
