Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Five (5) years relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency.
  • Knowledge and experience in program planning and event management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities;

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize and organize workflow.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings.
  • Understanding and knowledge of student/human development.
  • Ability to lead/teach; work in a team environment; and work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines and be attentive to details.
  • Ability to supervise, train, advise, and mentor students.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate patience and understanding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced education equivalent to master's degree or specialist certification preferred in student affairs, education, social work, counseling, leadership, or other related field.
  • Three (3) years' experience in student activities/programming, orientation, advising, and/or other relevant student affairs areas preferred.
  • Previous professional experience supervising staff.
