Global Risk and Analysis team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our New York team as Executive Assistant to the Chief Risk Officer. Candidate must have an excellent team orientation and the ability to manage a fast-paced work environment and to progress projects and ensure timely completion of deliverables and deadlines.
Key responsibilities include: â?¢ Maintain CRO's calendar, schedule all meetings and conference calls, field e-mails and phone calls requesting meetings, handle meeting conflicts and prioritization issues. â?¢ Arrange all aspects of travel. Including keeping travel profile up-to-date, manage approvals for any travel, arranging flights, hotels, rental car and sedan service, currency exchange using agency and online services. Prepare all itineraries. â?¢ Prepare and submit all expense reports on a timely basis. â?¢ Coordinate all related conference rooms including any catering, audio/videoconference set up. â?¢ Ensure thorough preparation for all meetings - this requires proactively requesting all materials in advance of meetings. â?¢ Navigate Firm's resources, interface with various departments on behalf of executives to collect information, respond to requests, obtain services. â?¢ Coordinate large meetings for other senior Risk team members. â?¢ Coordinate onboarding of new team members. â?¢ Taking on special projects as assigned by the leadership team.
Skills Required: â?¢ Excellent communication, writing, judgment, and problem-solving skills. â?¢ Meticulous attention to detail as well as exceptional organization/time management skills. â?¢ Must be an enthusiastic, positive team player who is willing to help out and who works well with colleagues. â?¢ Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently. â?¢ Pro-active and dedicated; must have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for all job functions. â?¢ College Degree Preferred or Relative Corporate Experience preferred (5+ Years of Experience) â?¢ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook for email, calendar and contacts â?¢ Other applications helpful include Excel, PowerPoint, internet and research tools â?¢ Experienced with Concur/expense management systems â?¢ Keep up to date with office procedures and technical training as well as all policy guidelines & compliance requirements â?¢ Comfortable interacting with high-level executives â?¢ Work from the office 4-5 days / week
Wage Transparency Statement
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
