Position Overview
The Department of Psychology seeks a Lecturer to teach one section of Psychology 1100 in spring semester.
Performance Objectives
Planning and organizing instruction in ways which maximize student learning
Meeting scheduled classes and office hours in accordance with university policy
Ensuring curriculum implementation and course preparation in accordance with school standards.
Preparing homework and exams, evaluating, and returning student work in a timely manner to promote learning
Maintaining accurate records of students progress and submitting final grade roster in accordance with established university deadlines
Maintaining confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA
Education and Experience Requirements
Required: Masters degree
Desired: Demonstrated skill as an instructor, especially in undergraduate courses. Previous experience teaching in the Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology (https://psychology.osu.edu/) is a central department on campus, with the third largest undergraduate major at OSU, almost 140 graduate students, and approximately 50 tenure-stream faculty. Our department aims to produce exceptional, innovative research to advance knowledge about mind, brain, and behavior, with the goal of understanding and improving the human condition.
