The Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music invites nominations and applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Tuba beginning August 2023. This is a tenure-track position that includes the teaching of tuba and euphonium students, low brass performance class, chamber music coaching, brass-specific courses such as Brass Orchestral Repertoire and/or Brass Pedagogy, as well as the expectations of collaboration and faculty governance consistent with a tenure-track university appointment. Duties also include weekly rehearsals and an average of two performances per semester with the faculty brass quintet.
