Boston University is seeking a Project Manager II (PM) within Information Services & Technology. This position is part of a diverse project team helping to support the strategic goals of the University. The PM II is primarily responsible for managing the execution of Identity and Access Management and Information Security projects. The PM II is accountable for delivering to committed scope, on-time and within budget, reporting on the status of projects to the project sponsor/steering committee, proactively managing risks and issues, and ensuring good communication within the team and with client stakeholders. This role may also act as a Business Analyst on projects, responsible for discovering, validating, documenting, and communicating business processes and requirements. The ideal candidate will be excited to collaborate with colleagues and business partners from many different areas of the University.
Plan delivery of projects in close collaboration with clients, and with IS&T staff (Architects, Developers, Engineers, System Administrators, and Service Operations).
Manage project teams and delivery of projects including requirements gathering, solution approach, design, resourcing, project plan, execution, transition to service operations, and project closure.
Proactively manage issues and risks, as well as project resources, budget and schedule.
Communicate status of projects and future project plans to stakeholders including faculty, project sponsors, IS&T management, and IS&T governance committees. Note that the responsibilities may occasionally include business analysis work to manage requirements gathering within projects.

Specific requirements are:
BA/BS and 3-5 years of experience.
