Stanislaus Animal Services Agency is seeking a full-time County Veterinarian to practice high quality shelter medicine and surgery in a fast-paced state-of-the-art facility. At least 1 year of experience in a shelter and/or high-volume setting is preferred. Effective time management skills and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment required. Practice veterinary medicine within a shelter setting, striving to provide the best possible care on both a herd health and an individual level, while being mindful of limited resources at the same time.
