Associate, Global Business and Product Management Role :
This role sits within the Global Business, Transaction and Product Management team and is responsible for providing support to the Ratings Commercial team in an effort to drive enhanced sales discipline, client engagement, and streamline internal/external reporting. The role is also responsible for working with the Commercial, Technology, Data, Finance and Operations groups from within the organization to ensure that business processes and their supporting components are designed, implemented and managed consistently and to the highest standards. This role reports to the Head of Business and Transaction Management for the Ratings Commercial team.
Responsibilities :
- Actively participates to support senior members of the team in Business Management activities.
- Utilize Salesforce as primary information platform; learn/utilize Salesforce functionality.
- Develop and deliver Reporting tools to support Commercial initiatives (e.g., Increase revenues, roll out of new products/services, tracking product rollouts/engagement, conduct market share analysis).
- Support/prepare team presentations to Management, other Commercial teams.
- Works with product development and marketing teams to support existing and prospective clients. Performs day-to-day tasks for the Commercial team and clients.
- Supports Product Development team with go-to-market and sales channel support in anticipation or preparation for product/platform launches or upgrades.
- Become well versed on one or more product specialties (primarily Ancillary and Other Services) and apply that expertise to support client and sales team inquiries, training and reporting. Work with team members to understand market regulations and help develop appropriate reporting and controls to identify, track and mitigate risk.
- Supports user training on operational changes, including changes to systems and processes (ex., annual fee schedule updates, maintenance of relevant SOPs).
Knowledge, Education & Experience :
- Has basic understanding of the structure, drivers, and needs of specific market segments as well as specific content sets, tools and analytics and delivery options.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Degree in Finance, Math or Engineering preferred.
- Skills in basic computer tools such as MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and aptitude to learn additional systems/tools.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $54,000 to $112,800 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
