You will be an Sr. Software Engineer III and part of the S&P Global Rating Issuer Portals Engineering Team. This team has a broad and expert knowledge on delivering Ratings content to our customers. The team has a diverse experience in technology stacks and architectural patterns, fosters knowledge sharing and collaboration that results in a unified strategy. Contribute to and support S&P enterprise architecture, standards, transformation from current state to future state.
Responsible for peer code reviews and code optimization in order to deliver the code as per the company quality standards.
What's in it for you : S&P Global Ratings is looking for an Engineer to join the Issuer Portals Engineering team within Ratings Technology, a team of technology professionals who define and execute the Commercial roadmap for S&P Global Ratings. The successful candidate will participate in the design and build of S&P Ratings cloud based Ratings client facing portals.
3-6 years full stack development experience in modern technologies.
experience on HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS.
Experience in writing reusable components.
Experience in writing any unit testcase framework.
Ability to learn and start working on any new technologies.
Experience in Developing applications in support of evolving business needs using JAVA - J2EE, Micro Services, Micro front end(MFE), Single SPA's.
Experience in Oracle, Mongo DB, Maven, Jenkins, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST & SOAP services,
Hands on experience in AWS cloud technologies like FaaS,VPC, EC2, S3, EFS, IAM, EBS, LAMBDA, Route53 and ReactJs, knockout, AnjularJs, DurandalJs.
Design architecture solutions and solve high level system design challenges.
Participate in business requirements and functional requirements gathering, which involves a review of existing systems\ configurations and operating methodologies as well as understanding evolving business needs.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering.
3-6 years full stack development experience in modern web development technologies, Java/J2EE, Spring boot.
Experience in creating REST/ OData service.
Experience in writing reusable components.
Able to work well individually and with a team.
Good debugging and Problem-solving skills.
Nice to have knowledge in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, waterfall.
Good work ethic, self-starter, and results oriented.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,300 - $155,900 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
