The Impact You'll Make in this Role The Order Document Specialist is an order entry position responsible for entering new orders and/or forward documents to existing orders. The role must efficiently and accurately enter new orders from documentation received by fax or email.
As an Order Document Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Handle and accurately enter required information for new customer orders
Identify additional documentation received for existing order and attach to correct order
Develop and manage customer relationships creating loyalty with Internal and External Customers
Collaborate with other 3M team members to provide continuity of care by resolving customer issues and communicating resolution
Meet weekly/monthly/quarterly metrics for productivity and quality
Identifying and notify supervisor or designated representative of issues or trends with impact on customer satisfaction
Understand and comply with HIPPA, PHI and 3M regulations/policies
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
One (1) year experience with data entry in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Demonstrate strong communication skills with all levels of customers orally, writing and telephonically
Experience with multitasking through multiple software programs
Capability to work effectively and exercise sound business judgement in a team environment, as well as independently
Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Fluent in medical terminology
Experience with Oracle/Kofax/HERO/FileNet
Travel: Includes 0% travel
Relocation: Is not authorized
Additional Requirements:Certain job positions within 3M require workers to be on-site at 3M facilities and/or at third-party locations.
