The Impact: Reporting to the Marketplace Platforms Associate Director, you will play a key role in the continued improvement of multiple Marketplace Platform offerings. You will work alongside S&P Global Technology, Commercial, Content and Operation teams to define executable business requirements that are aligned with client needs as well as the broader S&P Global strategy and goals.
Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $55.9k to $116.1 k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. Collaborate and execute on product specifications while serving as product owner on various scrum teams to develop high profile, high impact deliverables for our product suite ??? Facilitate content creation by partnering with content owners across divisions and functions throughout S&P Global ??? Understand detailed business requirements and transform them into actionable user stories ??? Prioritize and manage user story backlog ??? Wear multiple hats to support several Marketplace Platform offerings including our new Support Center, Extract, Query Library, Content Management System, SSO and entitlement tools ??? Assist in go-to-market activities for product rollout/launch on an as-needed basis ??? Conduct commercial trainings ??? Championing Marketplace Platforms both internally and externally ??? Understand and remain informed on alternative data and Data as a Service trends and use cases across various client segments Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: ??? Uses conceptual and innovative thinking with guidance from senior colleagues to solve complex business challenges ??? Ability to understand broad implications and balance against short-term goals when designing/planning solutions ??? Strong communicator able to clearly explain and document business requirements, interact with technology teams, internal business groups and external clients o Demonstrated technical documentation a plus ??? Comfortable working in a fast-passed environment with shifting priorities ??? History of working well in a group setting and proven ability to deliver results ??? 3+ years in Business Analysis, QA or Product Management ??? Basic knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies ??? Strong SQL skills
Preferred Qualifications ??? Experience working with datasets and data schemas ??? 3+ years working with web-development teams ??? Experience with Python, Snowflake, APIs a plus
