The Location: Centennial, CO
The Team: The group is responsible for driving our MediaCensus database, updating and enhancing the detailed estimates of broadband and video subscribers by operator by market in the U.S. The process-oriented position is key to expansion and enhancement efforts of the data set that tracks more than 1,200 broadband ISPs and 800+ traditional video providers across 210 DMAs.
The international MediaCensus team works closely with industry analysts across Kagan's TMT sector to drive creativity, accuracy and reliability. Personal initiative, independence, strong time management and creativity are emphasized, providing the perfect environment for highly motivated, detailed-oriented individuals.

Play a critical role in augmenting our coverage of the U.S. broadband sector, notably through contributions to our MediaCensus product, which models U.S. broadband subscriptions down to the zip code level for more than 1,200ISPs.
Have the opportunity to closely collaborate with teammates to increase efficiency, drive reliability and problem solve to enhance a high-value and dynamic data set.
Work with a group of experienced individuals with diverse backgrounds and personalities.
Collect/compile/model/analyze sector data from both public and private sources.
Maintain and improve critical Excel-based datasets.
Take ownership of data accuracy and completeness.
Provide client and company support in obtaining, analyzing and forecasting market data and conditions.
Participate in special projects.
Assist in charting the course of research enhancements.
Contribute research content and analysis to Kagan's platform services and publications. Work with an international team to ensure data quality.
Desire to learn programming tools such as SQL and DataBricks.
What We're Looking For:
Strong data gathering/data modeling experience.
Strong Excel skills, including fluency in all basic Excel functions.
Critical thinking and problem-solving instincts.
Capacity to work independently.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communications skills.
Broadband industry experience/interest in broadband delivery a plus.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $46,200 to $129,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
