The Role: Associate Product Manager, Private Markets Solutions

The Location: New York, New York & Charlottesville, Virginia
The Team: The Private Markets Product team focuses on delivering differentiated solutions to build a holistic view for users investing, raising/managing capital, or providing advisory/underwriting services in the Private Markets space. The team is a close-knit and tactical, so you have support directly from senior members if you have questions. This is a high energy, collaborative environment where you will collaborate with other motivated and driven individuals across the organization.
The Impact: You will coordinate and support the product management & market development activities to develop new markets, increase market share, and obtain competitive position. Utilizing the Scaled Agile framework to develop products for private capital market professionals. Aid the development of the go-to-market strategy for S&P Global products and services into the private capital markets. Effectively communicate the Private Markets strategy and goals to internal partners. Identify and address the product and service needs of clients to develop and improve new and existing products.
Project Management - deep understanding of developing web-based applications in the agile framework
Create, groom, test and deliver user stories from ideation to production
Design desktop features and workflows to address client requirements
Participate in QA efforts from both a technical and client perspectives
Work with key team members across technology, product ops, marketing, commercial organizations to push forward product development
Execute market research to stay on top of industry competitors
What We're Looking For:
Strong knowledge of private capital market
Digital product design sensibility
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering or advanced degree preferred
2+ years of relevant experience
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
Deep understanding of Microsoft office applications
Some experience with Capital IQ Pro desktop
Experience with Scaled Agile practices
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $46,200 to $129,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
