TheRole: Senior Program Manager, Agile Portfolio Management Office

The Team: The S&P Global Market Intelligence Agile Portfolio Management Office (APMO) is responsible for the lean portfolio management practices used to align lean development principles with business strategy, focusing specifically on investment funding strategy, lean governance, and distributed portfolio operations. Responsibilities: Your primary role is to support our executive business owners and their portfolios. You will act as a strategic partner, focusing on collaboration and communication within our planning and strategy execution practices. You will own and optimize supporting methodologies and processes in areas such as the Agile Scaling Frameworks, Lean and Agile Scrum. Some of your areas of ownership will include:
What We're Looking For:
Partner with portfolio leaders to ensure roadmaps are centered around customer value and align directly with our divisional strategy
Support the creation of customer value driven epics and shepherd though our vetting process (portfolio Kanban)
Ensure portfolio guardrails are maintained and any material changes are properly managed
Support decentralized program execution activities
Coordinate cross portfolio dependencies
Provide transparency on portfolio roadmap, investment, risks/blockers, and overall progress
Support the evolution of the Agile PMO and the overall transformation by providing guidance on scaling agile approaches and demonstrating a relentless commitment to improvement
Liaise with our external vendors to drive the contractor bid process, interviewing/onboarding, and billing/budgeting.
Create and maintain a knowledge base sharing strategy
Emotional intelligence, level-headed partner, skilled listener, and clean communicator
Solid commitment to detail
Experience with Lean Portfolio Management
Experience with Agile Scaling Frameworks, Lean and Agile Scrum (Scaled Agile Preferred)
Demonstrable experience in facilitating, leading, influencing, and managing within large-scale, globally distributed organizations
Comfort with a constantly evolving and sometimes ambiguous landscape; commitment to flexibility and an ability to operate with minimal direction
Commitment to creating strong relationships and fostering an environment of teamwork to support the division's goals
Minimum of 5-7 years of related work experience, preferably in an enterprise level PMO
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $67,600 to $190,100. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
