The Role: Product Manager - Agriculture & Biofuels

The Role: We are seeking a Product Manager who will help drive the design, development and Go-To-Market of Agricultural & Biofuels products, services and offerings within S&P Global Platts. This role will be critical in driving the development of our digital product offerings to our customers across our platform including web, mobile apps and data feeds.
The Team: This role sits in the S&P Global Platts Product organization and reports into the Associate Director for Agriculture Solutions. The role works closely with customers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensures delivery of products that meet customer needs and aligns with the business strategy.

Working within the Product organization gives the opportunity to engage with and gain exposure to all arrears of the business, liaising with cross-functional and global teams daily, as well as varied customer personas across an extremely dynamic global Agriculture industry.
Responsibilities: The Agriculture Product Manager's main responsibility will be to plan and execute on product development.
Integrally involved in transition of the existing product portfolio from legacy delivery mechanisms into a core offering across web, mobile apps and data feeds
Engage with customers and analyze customer feedback and product usage to drive product roadmap
Prioritize and present ROI of product enhancements to management and advocate for resources utilizing S&P Global Platts' proprietary internal resource allocation techniques
Project/Product Owner to provide the business vision and direction to Agile developments teams
Work closely with technology teams to deliver high value releases: writing user stories, creating, maintaining, and prioritizing product backlog according to business value and/or ROI
Develop and execute on Go To Market plans for product rollout/launches
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $46,200 to $129,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.

2-5+ years' experience as a product manager or product owner, preferably at a commodity information or financial technology company.
Proven track record of creating product roadmaps and executing against these roadmaps incrementally and sustainably
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and have very strong presentation skills
Experience influencing without authority and managing a diverse set of stakeholders
Strong customer mind set with demonstrated ability to engage directly and honestly with customers and deliver positive experience by creating a partnership mentality
Demonstrable experience with business change, designing and executing complex, business critical, processes into an established environment
Experience developing software following Agile Scrum practices
High technical literacy with real-time delivery platforms and toolsets
Strong, relevant, and current knowledge of Agriculture Information products & markets
Knowledge of front office trading, trade support, and risk management roles, as well as understanding of typical workflows at global commodity trading organizations
Experience working in relevant environments, such as commodity trading (front desk), market analysis (decision support), analytical tool development and management
