The Team: The Client Operations team is responsible for providing client support for our business intelligence tool by holding diagnostic conversations with clients & driving product usage. Being present in U.S., Pakistan & Philippines makes it a truly global team. Members of the team get to learn in-depth industry knowledge, produce Real Estate webcast presentations and develop technical skills, such as Excel, SQL. You will also work with different teams inside the organization across many functional areas (Sales, Technology, Product Management, Content, etc).

Associates have a direct impact to the quality of the support provided, hence directly affecting the client's perspective of the company as a whole. Since the Associates are also in direct contact with clients, they also have the opportunity to relay feedback to the organization and understand the needs of the clients which is valuable to the ongoing development of the product.

Additionally, associates are trained to be experts in using the products (both on Market Intelligence and Capital IQ), and given that they receive questions on a day to day basis and specific feedback from clients, they have good opportunities to discover opportunities in account management, sales and overall commercial organization. Lastly, a good grasp and exposure to Global Real Estate allows them to understand and be an expert in the industry.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $31.2k to $64.8k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
Responsibilities: The Associates are our link between the end-user and our products. Combing an expertise in our product with a deep understanding of who our clients are and how they use our tools, Associates provide the highest quality support. You will assist our clients with the following tasks:
Functionality - Associates consult with our clients on the best and most efficient way to achieve quality results
Client Training including new user demos on Market Intelligence platform and proactive outreach to boost product usage and unlock the power of our Desktop Solution
Data - for our clients to feel confident using our data, Associates must be able to explain our collection process as well as the methodologies behind our calculations
Problem solving - providing creative solutions to meet our clients' needs
Excel modeling - Associates assist our clients in building financial models
Webcast presentation - Associates when trained up and have gained sufficient industry and product knowledge also produce how-to short videos and product webcasts on newsy topics to boost product usage
Product Testing - From time to time, associates will be required to test out new functionalities of the product and key enhancements specific to the Real Estate sector
In addition to daily responsibilities, Associates will also have the opportunity to specialize and receive additional training on a particular product and the Real Estate sector
Make suggestions in regards to product usability, presentation and the data quality
Coordinate with Relationship Managers and Sales to lead persona-driven product training
Overall successful candidates are bright, fast learners with a strong interest in learning about financial markets within the Real Estate sector. We're also looking for individuals with:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
A graduate of a Finance/Economic related course
We are leaning towards hiring Fresh graduates or people with 1-2 years of experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment
Must have excellent oral and written English communication skills .
This role is limited to persons with the indefinite right to work in the United States
Working knowledge or at least a keen interest to know more about the global Real Estate industry
Graduate from a Finance or Economics related course would be an advantage but we highly value candidates that show ability to overcome steep learning curves and are able and willing to work under pressure and deadlines.
It's an advantage to have basic Finance concepts knowledge.
Candidates with experience of working in Capital IQ Client Service team will be preferred as well.
Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders from internal teams across different S&P geographies located globally.
