Our civilian Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) staff helps us to accomplish our mission of caring for the pets of military service members, DoD civilians, and Retirees. NAF veterinarians provide preventative measures, diagnosis, treatment, surgical care, and client education for our small animal population. You would have a chance to work with a wonderful group of soldiers and civilians in our clinic at Fort Polk & the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC). The position is part-time to full-time, guarantee of at least 20 hours every week or 40 hours every two-week pay period, and includes benefits.

Possess a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, i.e., Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), obtained at a school or college of veterinary medicine accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA).
Possess a valid unrestricted state license to practice veterinary medicine (may be a valid state license from any US state).
Additional Salary Information: Salary is pro-rated based on a 40 hour work week $38.33ph ($80,000) - $40.73ph ($85,000).
