The School of Dentistry invites applicants for a full-time Clinical Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Responsibilities include clinical and didactic teaching at the pre- and post-doctoral levels, clinical coverage and supervision, provision of on-call services and participation on School of Dentistry committees and governance. This role will partner with other resident programs including GPR, Pediatric Dentistry and Plastic Surgery. This person will work and partner with a diverse group of faculty, staff and students to provide a positive environment in which to maintain and grow the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
The successful candidate will be committed to teaching and developing our predoctoral students, OMS residents and to providing full scope quality care and service to patients.

DDS, DMD or equivalent degree
Completion of a CODA accredited advanced education training program in oral and maxillofacial surgery by the start of the position
Minnesota dental license or eligible for Minnesota dental license by start date (a Full Faculty License may be obtained in partnership with the School of Dentistry prior to start date if needed)
Proof of authorization to work in the United States by start of position.
Proven dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate well with others
Dedicated and committed to a career in academia and in teaching and mentoring students
Experience providing patient care and supervision in an academic setting, private practice or a military setting.
Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeryor in the process of becoming Board Certified
Demonstrated history of quality clinical and didactic teaching with predoctoral students and/or OMS residents or fellows
Eligibility for providing moderate or deep sedation/general anesthesia in an out-patient setting
Experience providing on-call services
Active participation or leadership in professional organizations
