Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices as well as online and digital channels. The Business Negotiations Consultant 2 is responsible for successfully supporting and coordinating negotiations, pricing and operations associated with mortgage servicing sales and daily management of deal negotiations for the Servicing organization with investors in support of business needs and initiatives. Based on in-depth business knowledge, manages daily negotiations on behalf of Mortgage Servicing with understanding of and ability to mitigate any contractual and operational execution risks. The Business Negotiations Consultant manages effectively in a matrix organization, develops partnerships with many businesses, functional areas and investors; provides insight into the economic climate and related market developments and identify trends which may present opportunities or reflect gaps in the operations Specifically, this position will: - Successfully collaborate with individual servicing business groups to understand their investor and operational performance and issues
- Ensure a clear coordination process for all parties to share issues, questions, guideline discussions and other issues
- Partner with critical servicing support groups including Servicing Portfolio Valuation, Legal, Vendor Management and Technology
- Ability to lead the execution of strategies with regular input and communication with the Servicing lines of business
- Conduct business in manner aligned with Wells Fargo Vision & Values

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: capital markets, corporate trust, contracts, or business development

Job Expectations
- This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
