Assist the Head Coach in the planning, organization and administration of the Football program.
Job Responsibilities:
Adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines, policies, and rules
Demonstrate leadership and professional behavior when dealing with student-athletes
Maintain positive constructive working relationships with student-athletes, athletics department coaches and staff, and all members of the College community
At all times promote the Football program in a positive way
Recruiting (10%) oFrontrush software usage to submit and update recruit information oCorresponding via mailings, phone calls, text messaging and emails oScheduling and setting up recruit visits oAttending off campus recruiting events oWorking with admissions office to recruit student athletes
Football Coaching & Education (80%) oPractice planning and on-the-course coaching oIndividual & small group coaching sessions oOversee academic, moral, ethical and athletic development of the student-athletes – personal & team meetings oGame preparation team meetings oGame day meetings, coaching, post-game debrief oTeam film sessions & meetings oParticipation in community service events
Football Team Administration (10%) oSupervise team during away contests oParticipate in fund-raising activities
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Coach
Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree desired. Football knowledge required and collegiate playing experience desired.
Competencies / Skills:
Ability to demonstrate football related skills, interpersonal skills between students, staff, alumni and friends of the college.

Physical and Mental Demands:
Physical Demands: Must be able to demonstrate football related techniques. The job entails normal sitting, standing and walking throughout the course of the day.
Mental Demands: Must be able to work in loud environments and keep mental concentration associated with events. Maintain professional attitude and demeanor in difficult situations. Position must have ability to multi-task in a very busy environment.
Work Hours:
Hours vary depending if in-season or out-of-season. Heavier time commitment in-season. Nights and weekends required to support practice and game schedules as well as recruiting events.
