Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

Job Description: This is a senior position in student affairs and an officer of the campus that provides leadership and management for portions of the division of Student Affairs, whose mission is to provide transformative student experiences to foster inclusive communities, enhance academic excellence and promote life-long learning, discovery, and success. The Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (AVCSA) oversees seven (7) student services and academic support units including: Retention Strategies, Academic Advising, Career Center, First-year Experience and Parent and Family programs, International Affairs, Multicultural Office for Student Access, Inclusiveness and Community Engagement (MOSAIC) and LGBTQ+ Resource Center, and Veteran and Military Affairs. The AVCSA also supports the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (VCSA) in the management of the Auxiliary Service units within the division. The AVCSA is part of the campus’ strategic enrollment team and represents the division on enrollment and retention matters. Serves on the VCSA leadership team and serves as back up to the VCSA in their absence. Relationships:

**Auxiliary services units in this context are considered to be self-operated, and/or student fee supported, non-academic student services/programs. This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
