Looking for mid-level architect 3-7 years’ experience and/or senior architect with 7+ years’ experience. Candidate must have strong knowledge of architectural design concepts, practices, construction documents and procedures, and an understanding of building materials and methods for building design.

Responsibilities will include production of architectural technical documents, i.e., schematic design packages, construction documents, field surveys and as-builts; material and code requirement research; writing meeting reports and phase documents; and interacting and coordinating with consultants and vendors.

Position may evolve into leading, coordinating and overseeing project team of project architects, design architects, interior designers, engineers and project interns; reviewing cost estimates; construction documents; reviewing progress and shop drawings; attending client meetings and conference calls.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and positive attitude are essential. Must demonstrate creative problem-solving and strong organizational skills.

Periodic travel may be required. Our firm primarily works on military and government contracts, many of which are out-of-state. Experience in that area is a plus but not necessary. Architectural license also helpful but not necessary.
