The Loan Document Specialist 6 role will be part of the Settlement Team supporting Default Servicing finalizing loan modification documents
Areas of responsibilities of this role will include the following:
Responsible for performing loan documentation duties on complex loan packages to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations including reviewing the complex legal, appraisal and title information
Prepares final loan documentation
Coordinates loan closings
Completes Income Reconciliation Calculator (IRC) which requires Income spreading and very detailed income calculations
Completes Debt Reconciliation tool that requires detailed analysis of the customer debts
Initiates loan disbursements and monitors the disbursement process; and ensuring that all files and procedures are in compliance with government regulations and company policies.
Reviews and books agent syndicated loans as well as loans prepared by outside counsel. Identifies and mitigates risk in accomplishing business goals.
May assist with CIT's and SHRPS
May provide technical and legal guidance to lower level staff
May provide training to lower level staff
May act as a liaison with relationships managers and legal department
*Hours/Schedule – Mon-Fri, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm – Individuals will work an 8 hour shift between these hours based on prior approval. Ability to work additional hours based on business need.
5+ years of loan administration experience, loan servicing experience, or a combination of both
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Previous leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Experience in root cause analysis – identifying trends for potential procedure changes
Proven problem solving, troubleshooting, and resolution skills

Exposure to Wells Fargo Mortgage Servicing Systems such as: MSP, ICMP, ECAR, ERLMF, and Workout Editor
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
