Our Capital Markets team manages the interest rate and operational risks associated with the origination, sale and servicing of mortgage loans, and provides liquidity for the mortgage assets originated by Wells Fargo.
Correspondent Lending is seeking to hire Correspondent Operations Production Specialist 3 positions. These individuals will work within secondary market on closed loans on intermediate-level responsibilities. Reviews documentation on closed loans as required. Responsible to ensure compliance with Company policies and government regulations; evaluate documents to ensure no discrepancies causing undue risk to Well Fargo.
Functions may include: resolve complex loan level issues; decision to approve loan for purchase, suspend loan, or recommend for non-purchase.
Additional functions may include: process exceptions for incoming Collateral packages and perform virtual review of collateral documents.
6+ months of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment demonstrated through work or military experience
Data entry experience
Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Mortgage document experience
Experience in Correspondent Operations
College degree and/or related work experience (2-3 years) or equivalent education and/or experience
Ability to work additional hours as needed
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
