The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Impact Evaluation Manager manages and leads the Program Impact Evaluation team in support of organizational priorities related to impact and outcome measurement, i.e., key performance indicators (KPIs) for WWP programs, and with tactical work including gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating complex data.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day implementation of a new warrior data strategy which influences how WWP collects, stores, manages, shares, and uses warrior and family member data.
Manage the Impact Evaluation team, mentoring them and developing their skills and abilities. Provide feedback and support to ensure on-time project execution and achievement of expected performance standards.
Build and maintain productive and collaborative business relationships with stakeholders across the organization and serve as trusted partner to the program teams. Ensure a customer-centric philosophy is demonstrated throughout the team.
Oversee routine reporting and analytics prepared by the metrics team. Ensure consistency of data communicated internally and externally. Perform quality assurance on the data and oversee quality control to ensure data, deliverables, processes, and output are accurate and logical.
Ensure accurate and appropriate recordkeeping and documentation. Maintain a clear chronicle outlining processes and procedures, including what was done, how it was done, the assumptions and caveats, for transparency, accountability, repeatability, and to reduce redundancy (e.g., not doing the same work multiple times from scratch).
Interpret complex data and generate data driven insights.
Collaborate with Mission Data and Insights leadership and key stakeholders to identify relevant data points to communicate to external audiences for marketing materials, executive speaking engagements, and other external facing events.
Lead the metrics team in employing data visualization techniques and storytelling with data.
Coordinate data sharing at scale, e.g., via meetings, print and digital materials, for a variety of audiences. Inform business decisions and communicate data clearly. Collaborate with marketing and program leadership as needed.
Serve as liaison between leadership and metrics analysts and understand and explain organizational priorities and direction and translate into actions and processes to support goals attainment.
Support innovation within the metrics team and challenge them to take service offerings to the next level.
Identify and recommend opportunities for strategies, tactics, and tools to generate efficiency and consistency.
Manage metrics team workload allocation and assign ad-hoc requests and responsibilities appropriately to ensure organizational deadlines and priorities are met.
Foster a collaborative and cohesive internal metrics team who works together to meet organizational objectives and share learnings and best practices.

Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and certification may be considered in lieu of degree.
Five years of experience working with data, analytics, interpreting complex data, or reporting data for decision-making.
Five years of experience sharing data via meetings, print and digital materials, and communicating data results to executive leadership.
Three years of staff management experience. Successful completion of WWP ELDP may be substituted for management experience requirements.
Three years of experience with Salesforce.
Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time including overnight and/or weekend travel
Master’s degree in business, accounting, economics, finance, or data analytics.
Three years of experience in a non-profit environment or working with military or veterans organizations.
Three years of experience with on-line survey platforms and methodology.
Certifications & Licensure
Valid government-issued driver’s license.
Qualtrics Research Core Basic.
Qualtrics Research Core Expert Certification.
