Civilian contracted opportunities for Licensed Clinical Social Workers to provide full-time, clinical care to the U.S. military and their families that are stationed overseas in Vilseck and Ramstein, Germany. Clinic hours are Mondays to Fridays, 7:30am to 4:30pm.
These are 3 year assignments. We will safely relocate the providers upon Government approvals, probably 3-4 months out from now.

Education: Masters or Doctorate Degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Accredited School. Substitute or related Degrees are unacceptable.
Licensure/Registration: Shall possess a Clinical Social Work license from a U.S. jurisdiction that allows for the independent practice of clinical services. Examples for acceptable licenses are LMSW-ACP in the state of Texas, LCSW in the state of Florida, LISW in the state of South Carolina and LCSW in the state of California. Related experience will not be accepted in lieu of degree or license requirements. Shall have and maintain a professional license, certification and/or registration as required by the profession and appropriate regulatory bodies. This license shall be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid (the issuing authority accepts and considers QA information (i.e. practitioner professional performance and conduct in determining continued licenses, and unrestricted (not subject to restriction pertaining to the scope, location, or type of practice ordinarily granted to other applicants for similar licenses in granting jurisdiction). The license shall be examination based and one that is granted by the recognized licensing agency of a state in the United States of America, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the Virgin Islands.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the practice of clinical social worker with individuals, couples or groups in clinical psychotherapy services in a multidisciplinary behavioral health/mental health clinic, preferably in a Government setting such as DoD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The contract provider will submit documentation of training in at least one of the following three evidenced-based behavioral health treatments: 1) Cognitive Processing therapy, 2) Prolonged Exposure Therapy, or 3) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. The contractor shall ensure that the contract service provider has sufficient training and experience to effectively provide social work services for service members and family members. Related experience will not be accepted in lieu of degree or license requirements.
Life support training. The Contractor employees shall possess and maintain current course completion documentation for basic cardiac life support (BCLS) through an American Heart Association and/or Red Cross approved training program. The contract HCPs are responsible for maintaining these certifications in a current status at all time while performing services under this contract.
Other Qualifications: Shall be computer literate. They shall possess the basic computer skills to enable them to enter and retrieve data from the electronic composite medical record system (AHLTA) and enter data and prepare reports in MS Office programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.
