Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

DMI's Data Strategy & Information Architecture (DSIA) organization works in partnership with IT and business leaders to architect information strategies and data plans aligned with Wells Fargo's mission, strategy, goals, and objectives. DMI's strategic direction for creating an Enterprise Data Environment and move strategic data assets to this environment creates a need for identification/tracking and remediation of the gaps between current or planned implementation and target state conceptual architecture (Enterprise Data Blueprint).
The Data Management Consultant is a critical team player within the DMI Information Architecture Team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Focusing on performing alignment assessments for APPs, SORs and consuming applications by applying the existing/ evolving the criteria for Information Architecture Alignment Assessments.
Defining and performing different types of applications alignment assessments based on whether it's a regulatory, audit or some other type of need.
Work with and perform due diligence on responses to the assessments obtained from various Technology Managers/ System Architects (and other SME's as necessary) with the ultimate goal of identifying Gaps/ Exceptions to target state architecture as defined in the Enterprise Data Blueprint.
Gain an understanding of Data Domains, Enterprise Data Blueprint Architecture, Enterprise Data Strategy and the emerging Wells Fargo's Enterprise Data Governance Policy as applicable to the Architecture Alignment Assessment process and communicate/educate as necessary.
Understand/ internalize architectural & technical specification documents in order to recommend remediation strategies/solutions based on aggregated view of identified Gaps/Exceptions to a broad audience at all levels of management to influence remediation.
7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis
Other Desired Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a Development, Systems Engineering or Architecture role
3+ years of strong business analysis/business consulting skills for investigating business situations, identifying and evaluating options for improving business systems, defining information requirements and ensuring the effective use of information solutions in meeting the needs of the business.
Ability to look at Technical Documentation and translate into business speak using strategic insight.
Knowledge of Wells Fargo's business and/or technologies
Basic knowledge and understanding of the technical application of concepts, practices and procedures in the architectural management of data within a single application or system component
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) & Microsoft Visio (or comparable tool) skills.
