Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.
The Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Stress Testing and Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) team is currently seeking a Finance Consultant. The FP&A Stress Testing and RRP team is a highly visible function that is responsible for leading stress testing (CCAR), Recovery and Resolution forecasts for the non-interest income and expense workstream.
Specific responsibilities of this opportunity will include:
Preparing quarterly FR Y-14Q and annual FR Y-14A regulatory report submission for noninterest income and expense ( 50% of time will be on regulatory reporting responsibilities)
Coordinating with line of business (LOB) sub-Data Providers and Report Owners (Regulatory Reporting and Treasury ICAAP)
Developing, executing and evidencing internal controls and complying with governance and oversight requirements
Completing various analysis, reporting and presentations
Providing guidance to and coordinating with LOB finance teams, forecasting COEs and others (Treasury, ALM, Risk groups and Resolution Financial Projections) to complete forecasts and other deliverables
Developing and maintaining various templates and tools to facilitate CCAR and RRP forecasts and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Participating in review and challenge meetings with LOB, forecasting COEs and other leaders
Completing special projects as assigned
4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting
A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment
Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Regulatory, GAAP or management reporting experience
Strong Hyperion Essbase skills
Experience developing and enhancing internal controls over financial reporting and complying with governance frameworks
Expertise with management reporting systems and hierarchies
Understanding of Wells Fargo businesses, including financial drivers and economic sensitivities
Experience with Stress Testing and Recovery and Resolution Planning
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
