The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is seeking applications for the Director of the National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) to be located in Ames, Iowa. The NVSL Director is responsible for the scientific leadership and overall planning, coordination, evaluation and program direction of NVSL’s four laboratories, three in Iowa, and one in New York. Qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree, national or international recognition, and having conducted outstanding research in the field of veterinary medicine.
