The University of Akron is seeking applications for a non-tenure track teaching position as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Computer Science starting Fall Semester 2020.
The department offers degrees at the Bachelor and Master levels and participates in the Integrated Bioscience Ph.D. program at the University.

The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate computer science core courses.
The teaching load is 24 credits per academic year on a renewable 9-month contract. Some portion of the load may be allocated to service.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field by the position start date of August 24, 2020.
Excellent teaching potential and effective communications skills.
Experience teaching programming courses in C++.
