We’re looking for candidates who have: - Previous military experience and knowledge of military education programs/systems.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in college/university admissions, public relations, corporate and business development, marketing, or other related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals and utilize proven marketing techniques, inbound/outbound telesales experience is a plus.
- Proven communication and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage time effectively with multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member or as an individual contributor.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs and with admissions software preferred.
- Ability to understand and work with contacts related to our operations or a military operations perspective.
Key Job Duties - Contribute to CCU’s mission: Christ-centered higher education transforming students to impact the world with grace and truth. In this role, the Enrollment Counselor shares the vision of how a degree or program through CCU will transform prospective students as they obtain their education with a Christian worldview that emphasizes how personal values and ethics can impact education, life, and work.
- Apply proven marketing and sales techniques to attract students to Christian higher education.
- Articulate to potential military students how CCU fits into their education and career goals.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly enrollment goals.
- Build, maintain, and advance community relationships with military staff and community at all military installations, including but not limited to Buckley AFB, Schriever AFB, US Air Force Academy, Fort Carson, and Peterson AFB.
- Monitor actual enrollments to individual goals daily as established by leadership, and execute effective sales strategies.
- Identify key sources for student recruiting opportunities through researching education markets, web-based marketing, and continue to cultivate relationships already established by the University.
- Regularly measure and report student recruiting activities; including inside/outside sales, inbound & outbound calls/e-mails/task management within Customer Relationship Management System, to leadership on a daily and weekly basis.
- Monitor enrollment and retention and provide appropriate evaluation, analysis, and improvements as warranted by the monitoring results.
- Function as a member of a University-wide team focused on enrolling, retaining and serving adult and graduate students.
- Work effectively and positively with other CAGS faculty and staff to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the University community.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of healthy spiritual community with students, faculty and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. You will be required to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends. Colorado Christian University expects all faculty and staff to become a part of the University community by participating in activities and events that occur on the campus throughout the year, which may occur during evenings and weekends.
