The Department offers a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Anthropology, and is broadly interdisciplinary in nature. It is one of nearly two dozen academic departments reconfigured within a new School of Arts and Sciences at Molloy College. As the College seeks to continue to add value as one of the most affordable private institutions in the region, the founding of the new School of Arts and Sciences plays a major role in its future strategic goals. In line with Molloy College’s Strategic Plan, the new School of Arts and Sciences seeks to address a number of its themes, from responsive education to student success to organizational effectiveness.
