The Team: Leveraged Commentary & Data has more than three dozen journalists and analysts providing news and research on the leveraged finance markets to 80,000 plus subscribers worldwide. It is the leading information provider on the leveraged finance markets whose success hinges upon producing a superior data and research product.
The Position: This position is part of the research team, will work closely with the news team. The candidate would be required to contribute data-driven trend analysis on the leveraged finance markets and to contribute to LCD's research product development. This candidate would contribute trend commentary to LCD News & Research on a range of topics including, but not limited to, distressed debt, secondary market analysis and sector analysis. The candidate will need to collaborate with LCD News journalists and senior members of the Research team on a regular basis. In addition to research/publication responsibilities, this position would attend and present at industry events, participate in client meetings, and work with the Senior Director to cement LCD's position as a "thought leader" in the leveraged finance market.
The Impact: This is a position that will have substantial market and client impact. The position will have a significant impact on LCD publishing and deliverables.
10+ years of work experience in the credit markets
Expert knowledge of the leveraged finance markets
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to synthesize data into trend lines and write commentary around these trend lines
Advanced degree preferred
10+ years of work experience in the leveraged finance market in an analytical and/or editorial role
Has written data-driven commentary on the leveraged finance markets
