What we do:
The Corporate Secretary's Office (CSO) promotes a strong corporate governance within the Bank; convenes and advises key decision-making bodies; and gathers, communicates, maintains and shares critical Bank and System information among senior management, Directors and staff, all in support of the Bank's mission.
Your role as Assistant Corporate Secretary:
Manages/Oversees/Coordinates corporate secretarial functions, including coordinating meetings of the Bank's Board of Directors and Executive Committee and supporting the fulfillment of their fiduciary responsibilities.
Responsible for managing the rotation of the Corporate Secretary approximately every 3 years, which includes off boarding, onboarding, transition of scope of the work and knowledge transfer.
Work independently or collaboratively, as required, to contribute to strategic planning for the Bank and the effective implementation of strategic plans. Oversee timely and effective execution of project plans.
Oversee coordination of meetings, briefings and elections for Bank Directors and the Bank`s Executive Committee and their respective subcommittees (e.g. meeting scheduling, dissemination and maintenance of materials, monitoring of action items, and facilitation of committee self-assessments), and support rotational committee secretaries and serve as backup Secretary to the Board.
Provide oversight and sign-off on all FOI (Freedom of Information) requests for the Bank.
Assist Corporate Secretary with the recruitment of Director Candidates (and of President, FVP, & General Auditor as needed).

Deep analytical and research skills as well as ability to think strategically, see the big picture and connect information and data from various sources to formulate responses to inquiries, gather relevant data for senior leaders and meetings and assess relevance, substance and practicality of policies;
Excellent relationship building skills and communications skills including active listening and problem-solving ability;
Strong operational focus on day-to-day activities and tasks.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, sound judgment and ability to bring projects to completion;
Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff and management at the Bank, other Reserve Banks, regulatory agencies, and regulated institutions;
Ability to effectively juggle competing priorities and prioritize demands to deliver timely, high quality work product;
Strong knowledge of the Bank`s organization and responsibilities;
Strong knowledge of the Federal Reserve; System`s organization and responsibilities;
Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
This position requires access to confidential information, which is limited to "Protected Individuals" as defined in the U.S. federal immigration law.
