To deliver comprehensive primary health care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals to students in a clinic setting with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention. Inherent in this role is independence and autonomy of practice within the framework of established guidelines, a collaborative practice agreement with the Primary Care Health Service Medical Director, and under the nurse practitioner scope of practice as governed by the New York State Education Department.

Required Qualification Summary:
Current New York State RN license
Current certification as nurse practitioner in New York State, preferably in primary care
Masters of Science in Nursing or equivalent Master's degree in appropriate field
Current DEA number
Current NPI number
Prior experience with phlebotomy and IV placement.
Computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
