Description of Department: Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, the Art Department has over 275 undergraduate majors in degree programs in Art, Art History and Graphic Design. These programs include the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). Additionally, undergraduates can elect to minor in art, art history, graphic design, expressive art therapy, illustration, photography, museum studies, or arts management. Students majoring in graphic design can study in the full spectrum of media studies associated with that discipline including print technology, web design, multimedia design, 3-D modeling and animation, interactive design, digital illustration, and motion graphics.
