EQ by Equiniti is seeking a qualified Senior IT Audit individual to join our team in Mendota Heights, MN.
We need passionate and engaged individuals to help us build a team that can lead EQ to the same success in the US that it has had in the rest of the world.
The Senior IT Audit reports to the Director, Internal Audit and will lead audit projects as well as assessing whether all significant risks are identified and appropriately reported
Continually develop and update the IT Audit Plan, Risk Assessment and Risk Assurance Map
Execute and co-ordinate execution of audit work to achieve the IT Audit Plan
Undertake Audit field work within IT and Information Security, amongst others
Manage internal and co-sourced audit resources in order to deliver the plan
Write and manage timely delivery of Audit Reports
Track and test implementation of management actions to address internal audit issues
Support the Head of Audit to ensure IT Risks are included and covered in functional audits
Manage relationships with management, relevant regulators and external auditors
Identify and work to IIA, regulatory and industry best practices
7+ years of experience in one of the following: audit, technology risk management, information security, IT program management, technology governance, or availability management
2+ years of leadership experience
Certification Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification
Audit experience at a large financial institution or auditing company
A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or business administration
Certification in one or more of the following: CPA, CAMS, CRCM, CIA, IIA or Commissioned Bank Examiner designation
Risk or compliance experience
Leadership experience for professional auditors, risk management, or project leadership professionals
Solid knowledge and understanding of audit methodologies and tools that support audit processes
