The Business Development Associate is responsible for recruiting qualified students for Stevenson University's adult undergraduate and graduate programs. Plan and manage recruitment events, fairs and other opportunities to generate student leads for enrollment counselors and build and maintain business relationships. Responsible for implementing all the local and regional recruitment efforts, gathering relevant data and compiling reports to ensure goals are met, and supporting the overall strategic plan for Stevenson University Online enrollment.
Bachelor's degree required plus three year's related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in higher education enrollment management preferred.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record; must be insurable.
Ability to maintain a current knowledge of application requirements and admission criteria for all programs.
Ability to maintain current and thorough knowledge of all degree programs.

Ability to organize information, manage tasks and projects and use available software effectively to contribute to the department, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications.
Ability to conduct statistical analysis to determine yield and future trends.
Ability to design and prepare statistical reports to demonstrate effectiveness of developing and maintaining partnerships.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to travel local, national and overnight.
Recruit prospective new students in support of the overall strategic plan. Schedule and conduct visits in appropriate business, government, educational and health care institutions.
Plan and manage special recruitment events and fairs. Meet or exceed established recruitment goals.
Facilitate seamless transition of student leads to Enrollment Counselor.
Help identify potential partnerships with other colleges, corporations, associations, military and government organizations.
Develop and build rapport within the business, educational and health care community and creating a comprehensive marketing plan.
Collaborate with academic administrators and the admissions/student success teams to identify potential partnerships.
Understand the needs, goals and values of adult students returning or entering higher education.
Facilitate the circulation of informational materials through all appropriate channels.
Maintain an active contact database.
Build relationships with current students as well as alumni to identify new group potential and new opportunities to present programs.
Discover new opportunities and develop innovative strategies to generate awareness of SU’s programs and to enhance enrollment.
Exhibit professionalism by maintaining a positive attitude and adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
Prepare reports documenting new partnerships established, visits to new and existing partners, and number of leads obtained.
Work with Assistant Director, SUO Data Research to prepare reports on numbers of applications, accepts and new student enrollment resulting from partnerships.
Comply with all state, federal, accreditation, and University rules and regulations regarding student recruitment and admissions.
