Excellent full time opportunity for an LCSW to work in an embedded resiliency team within a special operations military unit at Cannon AFB NM!
Key Role: Attend and participate in meetings, professional staff conferences, and other appropriate professional activities, including quality improvement meetings, professional staff meetings, commander's staff meetings, and other meetings required by applicable regulations or directed by the unit commander or a designee. Conduct applied research and clinical investigations into clinical or behavioral health and organizational social work. Maintain responsibility for the application of social work procedures and techniques, including interviewing, behavioral assessment, and evidence-based therapies in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders, such as applying expertise in individual, family, and group psychotherapy, couples therapy, and alcohol and drug treatment evaluations. Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, and school districts, as required. Maintain accurate and current notes in the paper and electronic medical records of all patients seen and produce reports of evaluation and treatment, as required. Participate in military-specific training activities, including security clearances, use of DoD or service specific clinical practice guidelines, pre-post deployment screening, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), combat stress, and others, as directed by the unit commander or a designee.
Basic Qualifications: -2+ years of experience within past 5yrs in the independent practice of clinical social work in a mental health setting -Experience with professional standards and ethics regarding the delivery of clinical social work services -Experience with brief behavioral interventions -Ability to obtain a security clearance -MA or MS degree in Social Work, including MSW, MSSW, or MSSA -Current and Unrestricted Clinical License for social work and independent practice in any one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands

Additional Qualifications: -Experience in a government environment, including DoD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF -Secret clearance preferred
