Job Description The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a full-time Coordinator, Information Technology for the Joe Crowley Student Union. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating information technology activities for the department including IT operations, system purchasing and configuration, and supervision of the desktop support function for all departmental computers. The position includes maintenance planning and oversight, inventory oversight, and development of a long-range planning for the replacement of all desktops, laptops, IPads, and tech cart computers, as well as printers and other hardware associated with these devices to ensure the union maintains cutting-edge technology to best serve its customers. The position serves as the liaison between the Student Union and UNR's Information Technology related to network and server technology, security, and policy compliance. This position implements distributed applications, ensures network authentication, and assists with network security design and implementation.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and two years or a Master's Degree and one year of related experience in information technology experience or IT planning.
Schedule or Travel Requirements Evening and weekend work is required.
Preferred Qualifications Strong background in information technology or information system in an university setting.
