Based on leadership decisions and business needs, "all other duties as assigned" will be expected for each position. Facilitate new employee trainings, curriculum trainings for new services and refresher trainings for staff on a variety of medical exams, assessments, contract documents, and other necessary information. Conducts needs assessment and evaluate staff training needs and results to ensure quality work output and process improvements. Implement training materials for nursing, clinical and administrative department staff. Assist in development of training materials and resources. Utilize internal and external resources as necessary. Support quality and compliance for the department by mentoring staff and conducting audits to ensure activities and outcomes comply with standard operating procedures, work instructions, company/contract guidelines and applicable regulations. Oversee and participate in the development of training materials and training modulesEvaluate training processes, tools and activities for effectiveness. Monitor and report the effectiveness of training to VA Clinical Operations ManagerPerform quality assurance (QA) and report audit findings to Clinical Operations ManagerResearch and recommend new training techniques and new training resources to Clinical Operations LeadershipConduct on and off-site training programs for staff.Assist Clinical Operations Manager in all duties as required Please Note: In order to be considered for this position, you must be able to obtain an SF86 Position of Trust which is only available to U.S. Citizens. Our Facilities Security Officer will initiate this process post-offer acceptance. Failure to obtain this will result in termination from this role.
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED Training of medically related education Experience leading or directing in a classroom environment Knowledge of effective adult learning principles and writing techniques in order to assist in development of training materials and deliver instructional training programs Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, database experienceEquivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered Preferred Qualifications:RN or LPN with clinical experienceExperience with military screenings Training experience in a healthcare settingPrevious leadership and/or military experience Knowledge of adult learning conceptsVisio, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, Instructional Design software (Articulate, Captivate) National Career Readiness CertificateSoft Skills:Excellent critical thinking skills in order to monitor the quality assurance practices of staffExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact and communicate with a wide variety of personality and learning stylesStrong organizational and time management skillsCareers with Optum.
