Premier regional ophthalmology practice in Central Louisiana is seeking an experienced practice CEO/Administrator who will lead the practice toward greater efficiency and increased profitability through management of strategic planning, human resources, operations, financials, marketing and business development. This is a 6 MD, 6 OD, 5 full-time location, 7 satellite location practice that provides superior eye care. This practice is the dominant specialty eye care provider in the region.
Successful candidates must have at least 5 years previous practice management experience in a multi-physician private practice â“ ophthalmology practice experience preferred, but not required. Candidate must have extensive knowledge of the financial aspects of running a practice, information technology including electronic medical records, an understanding of the dynamics of external issues as they relate to ophthalmology as well as an entrepreneurial orientation. Along with the day to day running of the practice, the CEO/Administrator will be responsible for developing mid and long term strategic plans with implementation procedures for practice improvement and growth.
Required skills include excellent written and verbal communication, exceptional human resource management including interpersonal relationships, team-building, problem solving, and delegation.
Resume' must show progressively responsible administrative experience in a private practice. Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree. Business or health-related field preferred, but not required.
