The Role / Responsibilities: This role will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of all operations for the sourcing and maintenance of Bank Financials content for Bureau van Dijk. This multi-faceted role includes responsibilities as a vendor liaison and an operational manager ensuring optimal conditions for data procurement and transformation. Specific responsibilities/objectives include:
Drive and manage multiple concurrent objectives and provide operational oversight to achieve the most effective data mix and business operation results
Liaise with vendor(s) to ensure a standardized and transparent approach to business processes and data procurement with a strategic focus to achieve product success in the competitive market.
Lead business transformations from current culture to desired culture, practices, structure and overall organizational environment with respect to product development
Identify, track and resolve operational issues and ensure performance expectations are tracked and managed
Negotiate and oversee drafting and execution of statements of work - in partnership with Legal, Procurement and other relevant partners
Manage, improve and execute in accordance with any relevant Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Manage the day-to-day operations of any relevant MAKS offshore teams from development and inception to steady state maintenance
Maintain, enhance and expand a matrixed operational model (vendor/MAKS) to deliver an expanded content set
Establish goals and oversee activities to drive both vendor and MAKS efficiency
Manage executive expectations and communicate status and results
Credit Risk Analytics
Strong academics with a Master's Degree (or equivalent) in a business related discipline
At least fifteen years of relevant experience
Demonstrated execution of multiple builds and transformations of large offshore teams: third-party vendor management; operations management; and process re-engineering
Proven leadership in designing, implementing and managing Key Performance Indicators and utilizing those to derive actionable business insight
Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to work constructively and lead teams across different cultures
Experience in addressing senior level executives and producing management presentations
Ability to work proactively, independently and highly organized with excellent time management skills
Experienced leadership ability to encourage, motivate and guide individuals and teams to build effective operational processes and working environments
Demonstrated ability to lead and negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors
Ability to form, build and manage effective teams with proven leadership to identify training and career development needs of individuals, teams or organization
Knowledge of major business functions, products, services and associated operating requirements
Knowledge of practices and policies governing disclosure of information about the company, company activities, and employees
Knowledge of finance, accounting practices, financial analysis and reporting
